Fingerprinting Childhood Lupus
Project Period:
Grant Category:
EC Biosample Stimulus Fund
Disease Area:
Our hypothesis is that childhood SLE includes distinct biological subgroups that can be identified through multi-modal clinical, immune, and genetic profiling. Our approach is to perform deep immunophenotyping on a small number of patients (non-CARRA) and to extend findings (genetic and, where possible, whole-blood RNAseq) to the CARRA cohort to establish generalizability.
