The CARRA Registry Annual Retreat is a critical meeting for CARRA Registry principal investigators, sub-investigators and coordinators. The purpose of the retreat is to facilitate and improve the experience of participating in the Registry by actively engaging with one another through small group discussion, panel presentations, brainstorming, problem solving, and training.
The success of the CARRA Registry is very much dependent on everyone’s engagement, so we strongly encourage the participation of every Registry site in the retreat. Each Registry site may send their PI, one sub-investigator, and the primary research coordinators who enroll patients into the CARRA Registry.
The schedule will be as follows:
1:00pm – 5:00pm Research Coordinators Session*
7:00pm – 9:00pm Welcome Reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails
8:00am – 4:00pm Registry Retreat including breakfast and lunch
*This session’s content is targeted for research coordinators but investigators are welcome to attend.
For those attending the retreat, CARRA will make one hotel room reservation on your behalf for the night of Sunday, February 23. If you need an additional night or other special accommodations, please let us know during the RSVP process. CARRA will pay the hotel directly for Sunday night. Any additional nights will be the responsibility of the attendee. Please note you will need to provide a credit card at check-in for any incidentals or additional nights beyond the one night CARRA provides.
Attendees are responsible for booking their own flights. Expenses will be reimbursed following the event. The full reimbursement policy can be found here.
If you have any questions about the retreat, please contact Natalie Aumann, Research Administrator, at [email protected].
Please RSVP even if you are unable to attend.
In addition to the Registry Retreat, an Implementation Science Meeting will take place Monday evening (2/24) and all day Tuesday (2/25) at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Marriott. Participation in this event will be by invitation only. A separate communication will go out to those who are invited to attend. Hotel reservations will be adjusted accordingly for those attending both meetings. If you have any questions about the Implementation Science Meeting, please contact Brian Mondragon Jones ([email protected]).
